1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of Shapehaus, a home app for flatmates published under the Inovy brand by Oğuzhan Aktay (“we”, “us”). By installing or using Shapehaus you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. See also our Privacy Policy.
2. What Shapehaus is, and is not
Shapehaus helps the people in a shared home keep track of chores in turns, due dates and bills, shared money, shared stuff, house notes and quiet hours. It records who paid what and who owes whom; it does not move money, hold money or process payments between housemates, and it is not a bank, a payment service or financial advice. Balances are only as correct as what your home enters: check amounts before you pay anyone. Some features need an internet connection.
3. Your account and your home
- You need to be 16 or older and sign in with Apple, Google or an email link. You are responsible for your phone and your sign-in.
- Everything you add to a home (names, tasks, dates, expenses, notes) is shared with the people in that home. Add only what you are allowed to share, and nothing unlawful, hateful or someone else’s private data without their permission.
- Homes decide together: people are let in by someone in the home, and removing someone takes a second yes. You can leave a home at any time from Home settings; open balances stay visible to both sides for 30 days.
- You can delete your account in Me › Settings › Delete my account.
4. Shapehaus Plus, free trial and auto-renewal
- Everything that decides turns and money is free forever. Shapehaus Plus adds more fun, comfort and room (for example up to 16 people, unlimited notes, more widgets and wardrobe items) and covers the whole home: one person pays, everyone in the home gets Plus.
- Plus is offered as a monthly or a yearly subscription. The price for your country, and any free trial, are shown in the App Store before you buy. A free trial (7 days where offered) turns into a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before; we remind you 2 days before it ends.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase or, for a trial, when the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends; your Apple ID is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel in your iPhone’s Settings › your name › Subscriptions (Shapehaus opens it for you from Plus settings). Cancelling stops the next renewal; the home keeps Plus until the end of the paid period. Nothing is deleted when Plus ends: Plus items stay with their owners, and extra notes and older history become read-only. If a payment fails, Apple’s billing grace period of up to 16 days applies and nothing is locked during it.
- “Split it with” your home is optional: it only adds a shared bill to your home’s Money so housemates can pay their part to the payer outside the app. Paying for Plus gives no extra say in the home.
- Purchases are sold and billed by Apple. Refund requests go to Apple and are handled under Apple’s policies, except where the law gives you other rights. Use Restore purchases (Me › Settings, and on the Plus screen) on a new phone. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
5. Offer codes
Offer codes are redeemed only through Apple’s own redemption sheet (Me › Settings › Redeem code). Shapehaus has no coupon field of its own. Codes follow Apple’s terms, have no cash value and cannot be sold.
6. No ads
Shapehaus shows no ads. If that ever changes, it will only be optional, chosen rewards, never in money, tasks, notes or notifications, never targeted with your home’s data, and never for Plus homes; we will update these terms and the Privacy Policy first.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use Shapehaus to harass or pressure anyone, to guess or share other homes’ invite codes, to tamper with the app or its servers, or to reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it. We may suspend accounts or remove content that breaks these terms, or to protect the people in a home.
8. Our content and trademarks
Shapehaus, its design, shapes, art, text and code belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on your own devices. Shapehaus and Inovy are our marks.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Shapehaus is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, and we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for disagreements between housemates or for payments you make based on the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Shapehaus in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
10. Ending use
You can stop using Shapehaus at any time; see Delete account. We may suspend access to our services if you break these terms or to protect the service or other people.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without limiting the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. Users in the EU keep the mandatory protections of their local law.
12. Changes
We may update these terms and will change the effective date above when we do. For important changes we will also tell you in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
