2. Account and cloud sync
Tropfen can begin with an anonymous Supabase account hosted in the EU (Ireland). Saved words, lists and settings sync to your account. You may link an e-mail address or sign in with Apple or Google to keep access across devices. Local reminders are scheduled on your device according to your notification settings.
3. Translation and camera text recognition
Text you ask Tropfen to translate is sent to our server and processed by DeepL or LibreTranslate. Translation text is cached on the server for up to 12 months to speed up repeated translations. Camera and photo text recognition runs on your device with ML Kit; images are not uploaded for OCR.
4. Optional analytics
Mixpanel (EU) and Microsoft Clarity analytics run only with your consent. Clarity session replay is masked. The app also includes the Meta SDK, which is enabled only after you grant App Tracking Transparency permission.
5. Purchases
Apple or Google processes payments. Adapty is used to validate purchase entitlements. Tropfen does not store your payment card details. Purchase records are kept by Apple, Google, and Adapty under their own policies and legal obligations.
6. Your choices and account deletion
Delete your account in the app at Settings › Account › Delete account, or request deletion by writing to privacy@inovy.dev. In-app deletion is immediate. E-mail deletion requests are completed within 30 days (one month, GDPR/KVKK). Deletion removes the Tropfen account and synced words, lists and settings. You may ask to access, correct or erase personal data under applicable law.

7. Legal bases
We process account, sync, support, translation and purchase-entitlement data as needed to provide the app service and respond to you. Analytics uses your consent. The Meta SDK is enabled only after App Tracking Transparency permission and any consent required by law. We may process limited information for service security and abuse prevention on the basis of legitimate interests where permitted, and keep records when required by law.
8. International transfers
Supabase is hosted in Ireland and Mixpanel uses EU servers. Microsoft Clarity, Meta, Adapty, DeepL and LibreTranslate may process data in other countries depending on the service and configuration. Where a transfer requires safeguards, we use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or another lawful transfer mechanism.
9. Data retention
We keep your account and synced content while your account is active. After account deletion completes, the account and synced words, lists and settings are erased unless the law requires specific records to be retained.
• Translation cache: Stores the translated text and its translation without any account identifier, kept up to 12 months to speed up repeated translations.
• Server logs: Kept up to 30 days. Backups are rolling and overwritten within 30 days.
• E-mail deletion requests: Completed within 30 days (one month, GDPR/KVKK). In-app deletion is immediate.
• Purchase records: Kept by Apple, Google, and Adapty under their own policies and legal obligations.
10. Children
Tropfen is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact privacy@inovy.dev.
11. Your rights and complaints
Under GDPR and Türkiye’s Law No. 6698 (KVKK), you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability where applicable. You may complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurulu) or your competent EU supervisory authority. Contact privacy@inovy.dev. We respond within applicable legal deadlines.
